Harvest Potluck Community Gathering
Sat. November 23, 6:30–9:00 pm
Friends Meeting House, 4312 SE Stark, PDX
Gather with good folks for a great veg-vegan autumn potluck. It’s a simple, open-hearted time to share a good meal and connect with people. Conversations will reflect the brightness of autumn’s beauty, and the lengthening nights that are leading toward winter
Please bring your favorite veg / vegan autumn dish or dessert, so there will be abundant food for all. We’ll honor the true owners of the land we’re gathering on and the price that’s been paid for us to be here, and we’ll share celebrate being alive here and now in community. We’ll touch on the challenges of our time, but favor the surprising and simple, inspiring and creative possibilities that are bursting open in response to the world.
PS: Let’s keep the whole community warm this winter. Cold weather is not far off, and lots of people are sleeping hard on the streets. Bring NEW (or almost new) warm things to donate for people of all ages, styles, and genders. Store-bought or handmade Hats & Scarves – Sweaters – Gloves – NEW Socks – Jackets – Long Johns – Blankets – Hand-Warmers all make a difference. Please help if you can!
Donations to help rent the hall are appreciated (but no one is keeping track). All are welcome. Please join us!
