Harvest Potluck Community Gathering

roasted root veggiesSunday November 18, 6:30–8:30 pm
Friends Meeting House, 4312 SE Stark, PDX

Gather with old friends and new folks for a great veg/vegan autumn meal.  As we share a sumptuous potluck dinner, our conversations will reflect the bright beauty of fall, and also recognize the challenges facing the world – all that’s wonderful as well as the wounds that need skillful, active, compassionate attention. Please bring your favorite autumn dish, veg or vegan, to share!

And help warm things up!

We’re gathering warm things for folks in need. Bring something if you can. We especially need warm NEW socks. Or warm hats or scarves of any kind. Jackets, sweaters, long johns, and blankets, too, for all ages.

Please note that all items should be in NEW or ALMOST-NEW condition— just like you would give to family.

So join us to share great food, laugh, listen, reflect, and connect. Our conversations may range from difficult realities of our time, to the awesome possibilities and creativity that are opening up as the year goes on. With generous and respectful intention, we open to what is alive and true in the world, here and now.

Donations to help pay the rent are much appreciated (and cards are always an option if you forget cash). But no one is keeping track and all are welcome, no matter what. Please join us!
