Knitting Circle!
Friday May 4, 10:30 am–12:30 pm
Upstairs at Woodstock New Seasons Market, SE 46th and Woodstock
Living Earth’s Community Knitting Circle meets on the first Friday of every month. It’s a warm, friendly chance to knit and crochet, creating friendship while our fingers are busy creating beautiful soft items for our Winter Warming baskets in fall.
Crafters of all ages, styles, and skills are welcome to our Community Knitting Circle. Whether you’re working on a personal project, or already volunteer for Winter Warming, or want to meet other craftspeople and learn more, bring your needles or crochet hooks or needle-and-thread and join us.
Kudos to our great Winter Warming partners at New Seasons on Woodstock for providing this space to help our knitting circle and our Winter Warming program thrive!
Winter Warming
Our Winter Warming Project is an ongoing program that helps neighbors of all ages and need levels stay warm every year. Newly crafted warm blankets, hats, scarves, mittens, shawls, booties and more find their way into our baskets, to be delivered to those who need a hand in winter.
